PiYo Class

Every Thursday at Carleo’s

 

This class is a PARTY! We have a blast, but still find our center. With choreographed sequences set to upbeat music and paced to make you sweat, PiYo is a low-impact class that will help you burn calories while having fun. Great for all ages and fitness levels.

In this PiYo class, we will

  • Combine the strength training and body lengthening aspects of Pilates with the core training and stretching elements of yoga for a low impact, fun experience we call PiYo.

  • See familiar poses in yoga (like Downward Dog, Boat Pose and Warrior) and kick them up a notch.

  • Enjoy an aerobic cardio vibe with upbeat music and choreographed movements designed to make you burn calories and sweat while having fun!

  • Support each other where we are. Modifications are given so that everyone feels welcome and is able to practice within their skill level.

  • Meet your body where it is today, leaving our ego, judgement, and competitive edge at the door!

Type: PiYo (pilates & yoga hybrid)

Time: Thursdays at 6:30pm

Admission: $5 per person

Includes: Glass of wine (21+)

Level: All fitness, age and skill levels are welcome and accommodated

Bring: Yoga mat & water bottle

Wear: Comfortable clothing, yoga pants, or athletic gear - avoid long hanging jewelry
