Jill Davis

Some people simply dream for years about quitting their jobs to pursue a passion, and some people actually make it happen. After years of balancing side hustles with her day job, Jill is proud to be a full time fitness instructor and realtor in Knoxville, Tennessee. These two seemingly unrelated fields are a perfect match for her charismatic personality and genuine love for helping others.

Pilates Jill

After having her second child 19 years ago, Jill discovered Pilates as a way to get her core back into shape. Pilates quickly grew into a passion, which broadened to include yoga and then barre. Eventually she was attending so many classes at her fitness center that the president pushed her to become an instructor! That nudge helped her realize teaching was a way she could help others while doing what she loves to do. Her classes are a blend of vinyasa yoga, Pilates and barre techniques. Her goal is that every person leave her classes proud of themselves and thankful for their bodies’ power.

Jill stays up to date with the latest methods and best practices through workshops and certification programs. She prefers supporting fellow yogis workshops, because “we have so much to learn from each other, and these workshops are filled with like-minded people who support each others’ growth.”

In her personal life, Jill is the loving mother of two children and one dog child, Baby. She loves hiking, spoiling Baby rotten, watching documentaries & researching her interests. One of the ways she gives back to her community is by hosting free classes for causes, and donating proceeds to charity. Her other passions include nutrition and research - she describes herself as “forever curious and a truth seeker for a better and balanced life.”

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Knox Native Real Estate

Jill became a realtor in May 2017 and has been a Knoxville resident since 1999. In her position at Knox Native Real Estate, she is grateful to work under her friend and real estate mentor (aka Lady Boss), Katie Beeler.

The most rewarding part of being a realtor is getting to be a part of one of her clients’ biggest purchases in life - “It’s the best feeling in the world to help make that happen for someone.” Her advice to prospective home owners is not to live to pay a mortgage — instead, know what kind of mortgage you can carry so it doesn’t carry you.

She utilizes different types of technology in her real estate work to make communication easy her clients. With Facetime and DotLoop, she is able to show homes to clients anytime, anywhere and send documents for signature on the fly. She also uses Supra eKeys so that her sellers can stay informed in real time with showing appointment details.
